Doin the Alternator swop!

So I started.....but not finished boo!!

Removed the old dynamo- nowt wrong with it but fancy a few luxury so she had to go- toyed with the idea of a set from 105speed but by the time I got round to buying it, it had gone up in price haha!!

Spoke to graeme at gsEscorts and he said yup I no wot ya need £50 delivered!!! That's the Alternator, brackets, and belt!

So I read a few notes saying u need to extend the bracket put some washers in etc etc etc

How ever mine seems to be spot on.....see pictures and feel free to tell me otherwise I won't be offended however every article I have and can see is a bit vague on the wiring of the Alternator ( not the removal of the regulator ) I have a brown an yellow thick wire an a green an brown thinner but there's a couple of connectors on the back of the Alternator so......which goes where?!

Small wire on small spade. Big wire on either large spades. Think the small spade on its own is for suppressor

Knew ud answer pretty quick col! So I can ignore the 1 on its own then? That was wot was concerning me so thought I'd be cautious!

Sure my alt has that connected to a suppressor. But like most altos big spades charging and the small spade field wire- ign light and exiter wire.

So should I go gettin a suppressor?!

Only for radio as far as I know

Hmmmmm I have a modern radio I was going to hide out of site. I suppose wire it up an if it interferes look for a suppressor??
