floors need work. theres a couple of holes on inner wings. new to old fords so not sure how much work it'll be yet.

I'm just planning on getting it on the road and see how it goes with the 1300 but i imagine ill be wanting to upgrade the engine. 

 

what are my best options for more power without spending a fortune?

Would have thought the best cheapest option would be 1600 pushrod or a bit more power 2.0 ohc bit of a donkey but still shove a car along fairly well. All depends on your budget.

As above 1600 X flow nearly a straight swap, pinto bit more power but more to change too, unless you can find cheap old sierra or something to use as doner? People fitting zetec now as more upto date upgrade, but then you really start, brakes suspension. ....... It goes on!
