jordan98 Posted August 19, 2016 Report Posted August 19, 2016 Hi guys im new to this as i have only just signed up today. Now ive got the chance to buy a mk3 granada ghia auto with less than 20k just over cant remeber now. Should i buy it? Story goes... Old man and doris bought it new when he retired and recived a lump some of his pension from work. He then died and she took it out once a week just to keep everything mechanically moving. Always been garaged and documentation to prove the millage. what should i do?!?!?!
aardvark101 Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Shift it out of the way so you can get to the Mk 1 Twin Cam with delivery mileage at the back of the garage
HotRodMatt Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 aardvark101, im confused lolIt's normally those type of stories that lead to a treasure in the garage, such as a Twin Cam. Anyway, welcome to the forum.
Admin Vista Posted August 20, 2016 Admin Report Posted August 20, 2016 aardvark101, im confused lol Welcome to the forum. The cryptic replies you are getting are at least partly because we only cater for Ford models that were in production by 1980. This isn't immediately apparent on reviewing the forum in general but is stated on the forum home page and also in the terms and conditions you agree to when you join (though I acknowledge that many people just click on accept without reading them when they see those). That said, your question deserves an answer. Mk3 Granadas aren't especially collectable yet but no doubt have a strong following in their own Owner's club. Whether you should buy it depends on a combination of how you feel about it, what condition it's in and whether the price is right for you. If it's a car you like and want to buy, and you can get it for a reasonable price, then go for it. 1
