PINTO TWIN CAM

Has anyone seen or got one of these conversions ? Taking it the the wrong valve train geometry can destroy the power output of the heavyweight pinto would have thought they would be in great demand. Any thoughts or experience with these.

think the piper one was a twin can 8v the warrior is 16v more like the cossie yb

I was thinking the 8v conversion were you just lopped the cam pillars off and fitted the twin cam cam carrier to existing head.

yeah i know the one. ive only ever seen 1 fitted to a mk2 cortina in a classic ford mag 10yr ago or more, very rare indeed

I think Colin Ashton has one fitted to Fast Eddies old RS2000 or at least he did.

Very nice people to deal with, Phil does come up with a 2nd hand head kit from time to time, as and when rally customers have latest upgrade kit.

 

We run a 2ltr in mk1 bubble arched and a 2,3 in mk2 zakspeed re creation both now on inj, run like a swiss watch.
