Transitfan Posted July 1, 2017 Report Posted July 1, 2017 Hello. I've been to Tour of the Moor and Classic Ford with the fella and his mk5 Cortina and now we've gone out and bought our new toy, a mk2 transit minibus! Well, I couldn't let him have all the driving fun! 3

Admin Vista Posted July 2, 2017 Admin Report Posted July 2, 2017 needs an ex ambulance essex under the bonnet As I recall (I was sent that pic in 2014) it does have something non standard under the bonnet.
RWL81P Posted July 2, 2017 Report Posted July 2, 2017 As I recall (I was sent that pic in 2014) it does have something non standard under the bonnet. i remember when all our ambulances in doncaster were mk2 trannys, they all had 3.0 essex engines! then went to the wedge trannys with v6s in them too. not sure if they were factory or if they were put in when converted to ambulances.
Transitfan Posted July 5, 2017 Author Report Posted July 5, 2017 Thanks guys. Planning to start work on the body fairly soon but this will be a longish term project. I'd really like to bring her to Tour of the Moor next year if it goes ahead again. 1
