voodoo57 Posted July 14, 2017 Report Posted July 14, 2017 well, i done what they asked with their icons on every page that should have had a photo, it didn't work, so i asked for my money back...... they replied yesterday, basically, what i bought was not for 3rd party, therefore i get to post no pictures, so, in their terms and conditions, i do not get a refund, i have replied with, you sold me the wrong item, therefore you are at fault, so give me my money back...... I await............................................
Admin Vista Posted July 14, 2017 Admin Report Posted July 14, 2017 I just deleted my account, F*ck em I think many will do the same, signed their own death warrant if you ask me.
Danish Posted July 14, 2017 Report Posted July 14, 2017 Yup. I haven't used them for a few years but my photos for 2011-13 were on photobucket. I've moved most of them and I'll close my account asap.
Snapper Posted July 14, 2017 Report Posted July 14, 2017 Me to Have opened a Flickr account but don't know how to post an image just a link. Have started to pay Apple 79p a month for 50Gb and am considering my own RAID server instead of using some of my works 24Tb one
voodoo57 Posted July 16, 2017 Author Report Posted July 16, 2017 they replied saying the option i chose was not the correct one for what i wanted? i simply replied, you gave me three options, the one highlighted was not for me as i do not upload anywhere near the amount for the cost they are asking for? and added, so where is my choice? where are my options? clearly there were no options for my needs? they replied, the usual 'Terms/Conditions, no refund jargon' I told them to stick it! paypal suck as well! if it had been an ebay item, it would have been simpler, maybe i should meet up with them both and have a good ol' Punch up! ( but we all know they won't turn up!) oh well, onto a different system i go!
JP. Posted July 18, 2017 Report Posted July 18, 2017 Well I also deleted all my pics. Won't use it any longer.
stephens_xpack Posted July 19, 2017 Report Posted July 19, 2017 Tinypic has been working fine for me since PB started ditching the links, free and easy. Don't know how long for though, especially if everybody from PB jumps across?
Danish Posted July 19, 2017 Report Posted July 19, 2017 I think many will do the same, signed their own death warrant if you ask me. I'm assuming they *wanted* us to all close our accounts and walk away. The way they've gone about this - 24 hours notice in my case, and no monthly hosting option, suggests they aren't interested in striking up new paid accounts, as the approach they've taken isn't going to make you think they're a good company to deal with. So my best guess is this is a one-off cash grab. Most users won't pay the $400. Of those who do, most will surely only pay it once to get them out of the current position while they look for a new host?
voodoo57 Posted July 24, 2017 Author Report Posted July 24, 2017 johnnyspencer! you had me chuckling!

voodoo57 Posted July 26, 2017 Author Report Posted July 26, 2017 good show! I am still getting emails from them saying 'we have not heard from you in a while, we hope this has all been sorted'!!! clearly they don't read their emails with the prominent wording of **CK OFF!
