I have always loved the look of 175/50 tyres on escorts so when I had my car built 6 years ago that's what I had fitted, WPE who built my car said at the time they are the wrong size tyre but I had them fitted and loved the car but I had my complaints about the handling of it which different people all said it's the tyres, so I bit the bullet and bought 185/60s my god it drives so much better, who else on here has tried both size tyres I would love to hear your thoughts of it

I learnt years ago on various old cars low profile tyres and old school suspension just dont work together.

175 50s are for sarfies! i personally think 175 50s look and drive shit! way too small for the size of the arches and great for bending your rims! im a northerner so for me its 185 60 13s and cibies!
