Fozzy48 Posted April 9, 2018 Report Posted April 9, 2018 As the title says, it never ceases to amaze me how people try to bodge things. As you know I'm doing bits and bobs to my mk2 RS2000. Yesterday I was down at the outlaws as I am going to put a new throttle linkage on it. The one on it is shite and the throttle sticks. I've found what I want now and I am also putting a new cable on too. The one I've found is universal from burton which will clamp either side of the bulkhead and be strong and sturdy, and the end will just clip onto the pedal via a ball joint. I was just looking at this yesterday and just clarifying what it was I needed on the pedal and it looks like from what I can see like the existing cable is somehow looped and made up and then tye wrapped to the pedal to stop it coming off. I can't believe how some people find it easier to bodge things instead of buying the proper bit. It must have been harder to do it wrong than right. Rant over. Fozzy
