Bike carbs on engine with auto box?

 

Would this combo work ok?

Unable to drive manual for health reasons.

On Pinto engine with A4LD trans.

As long as you can get them set up correctly, don't see why not. Depending how the kick down works may pose a problem, nothing I wouldn't have thought can't be worked around.

If I remember correctly, the kick down works from a switch on the cable, which in turn operates the kickdown solenoid, so should not be a problem.

Can't see an issue.  Worth putting a Lambda Boss in the exhaust downpipe for helping to get it tuned if you e errors how down the tolling road route. 

Not essential, but some tuners make good advantage of them if fitted.
