chinkamon Posted September 14, 2018 Report Posted September 14, 2018 Hi all Looks like the car may have to sit outside on the drive as the garage may be out of use soon, as its England and rain is inevitable anyone have any suggestions for decent covers to protect from rain maybe ice and snow?
Munch Posted September 14, 2018 Report Posted September 14, 2018 Hello Chinkamon I have recently bought an indoor cover from www.carscovers.co.uk but they do outdoor ones as well. I have been more than happy with it and would recommend them. You choose your cover by car model rather than small, medium or large. 1 1
chinkamon Posted September 15, 2018 Author Report Posted September 15, 2018 Cheers munch I'll look them up
Cuili1 Posted September 15, 2018 Report Posted September 15, 2018 Hi Chinkamon, If your looking for another recommendation... I've got a couple of the custom indoor covers from these guys. https://www.classicadditions.com There indoor covers are very good, but I don't have any experience on there outdoor ones. Craig. 1
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted October 28, 2022 Moderator Report Posted October 28, 2022 Resurrecting an older thread as there are a few on car covers so kick starting this one rather than starting another. Have been using the Cosmos covers on my Escorts but the British Racing Green one on the Twincam is really faded and starting to tear. Even though its under a carport the sun UV is really taking its toll so Im hoping for something with a bit of UV resistance this time. The odd bit of rain would also come in from the side so dont want one that absorbs water if it has a fleece lining or something. One that is a reasonable fit for an Escort too would be good as if they are too baggy they do blow off. Any suggestions?

Interested to how this goes, im thinking ill have to move my escort forward in the drive and somewhat more open facing, will be UV exposed and in some cases of really sideway rains possibility of getting wet. Ive got an indoor cover on it now from this place https://www.Retards Club.com/profile.php?id=100048102315390 It fits ok but for the cost 500 im not stoked enough to return. Wasnt untill after i ordered i found out they do not have a 2door trim pattern only a rs2000 which has the nose cone. They also sent me completely wrong car first up (EH holden) but did fix up that mistake and cover costs involved with it. Ideally id love something really fitted, UV protected but not sure where to go to get it. Id even be interested in a group buy if it can help us both out Edited October 31, 2022 by Nursebetty 1

With Christmas and all I have let things slip as well but im at desperation phase now as the Twincams cover is held together with pegs!
Nursebetty Posted January 31, 2023 Report Posted January 31, 2023 Ha looks like my outdoor furniture covers! Im tempted to just get a supercheap outdoor cover and throw it over my indoor cover as well 1
