Got a pleasant surprise for some gen Ford parts for my transit custom sport. The engine oil change warning came on, it's it first service @ just under 12k Gets on with the factors for the price of oil, filters and so on. Well I say oil it's like piss, grade 0-30!! Prices come back just short of £150 Gets on the net and I can get a full genuine service kit. 10ltrs oil/ oil filter/ air filter/ fuel filter and sump washer delivered for £96 Had to ring up and confirm it was correct. Yep it was, so ordered 3 sets? Just goes to prove always best to shop around and check dealer prices, sometimes they do get it right!

we fell foul of that one Colin, Peugeot 207, 2 yrs 11 months old and the head gasket started leaking oil out of the corner, it was picked up on the first MOT, so off to the dealer as per the MOT stations advice, got told very rudely to go away as the car hadn't been serviced with genuine parts, basically, we were allowed to use any garage to do it, as that's the law, which we had, but the parts have to be genuine and all the correct part numbers on the invoice / service sheet, as well as the complete amount of parts as listed in the Peugeot service schedule

hence, weve never bought another new car since, and still have that car

ford might be different, but I would check

My Dad just bought 2x K11 Micra service kits for our cars, one for his and one for mine.

Absolute bargain off eBay - spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, particulate filter and oil filter all from decent brands in one kit for £12.99 with free delivery!
