yipeee i went and picked up the panel today its a genuine ford panel brand new and still has the part number writen on it 8) £400 als got a rs2000 rear bumper for a tenner

 

now all i gota do is get it booked in :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D im finally gona get her back on the road!!!

its gonna cost £1000 to fix the car :shock:

 

It's not cheap bein retro cool mate, but it's nice when someone else is paying :ykt::mrgreen:

the car has been booked in now for new rear panel and roof bits welded on friday the 30th (10 days) im confident it wil go well coz my dad is helping the guy doing the work and he is a piky bastard and a perfectionist so it should be a top notch job!! im just worried about the paint , its going to a specialist but i dont trust anyone with my car :shock:

well the car went off at 8 am today to get the panell fitted and a load of other bits welded up. eg. roof, bottom of rear window rubber mount. a lil chassis hole etc cmes home tonight then off to the painters on monday. iff not tonight. 8) i cant wait, hope it all goes well.

Its nice when someone actually is decent enough to stop when they hit you where i live they usually drive off :roll:

 

Hope it comes back looking minter than ever before mate :D

Glad its all working out - all too often it seems we get shafted by a less than scrupulous minority who think silly things like insurance, MoT tests and tax are for everyone else. Looking forward to seeing the end results - I'm sure everything will be better than fine :D

update on todays progress :thumbsup:

 

panel fitted like a glove.... u cant beat a genuine panel

plus all the welding on the roof is done and new plates for rotten bits in the A farme for the windows. and boot frame and under the fuel tank. i cant wait to see it finished!!!!!!!! :wink:

more progress today. the car is now finished all rust killed and treated and its now at the paint shop ready to get flattened smoothed and painted.... here are some more pics.

 

lol while we wer their we also sorted every bit of rust on the underneath of the car aswell and the boot and under petrol tank and spare wheel chassis etc etc:lol: wen this is done their wont be one bit of rust on the car 8) till next time :shock:

 

was bloody fun driving to the spray specialists with no windows :lol::lol: :lol:

 

i get my car back next week some time :P:P:P:P:P cant wait.!!!!!!!!!
