Admin Vista Posted February 13, 2020 Admin Report Posted February 13, 2020 Rust. They aren't immune to it as some woukd have you think. Also, check whether it's UK registered yet. It can be a challenging process with South African cars as Ford SA will not help you in any way at all. If it's not registered yet, check that the seller has all the paperwork. Original reg document, export and import paperwork, Nova declaration, proof of title etc. And of course all the usual identity checks. Check the chassis number matches the paperwork. That a chassis plate is fitted and the chassis no is present on the strut top. Welcome to the forum.
mcmullen123 Posted February 14, 2020 Author Report Posted February 14, 2020 cheers , all sound advice. Thanks Bobby
Rich T Posted February 14, 2020 Report Posted February 14, 2020 Welcome. Fingers crossed its a gooden. As Vista sead, make sure its got the relevant paperwork with it (not photocopies, they wont do) inc the original SA logbook. And dont let the red most fool ya. Other than that, happy buying 🙂 Rich
