No , something is wrong if it is wound right in , to run correctly.

Investigation shows I re-assembled the Carb incorrectly, the first pic is pre service the second is what it looks like now......

I think someone mentioned that the butterflies where possibly the wrong way round due to you winding the mixture screw all the way in

Yes, Johnny boy told me it couldn’t be right then I looked at Rays & you could see the 78 on the butterflies - I had to check mine &.......🤐

So - I’ve removed both butterflies, turned them over so the 78 degrees marking on both is closest to the centre (Top Tip) & the throttle & choke mechanism is much smoother & both butterflies close w/out a gap this time! Mix screw now x2 turns out - we’ll see 👍🤔

Don't forget to make sure the screws are secured 🙄

I’ve fitted the Primary Idle Jet (55) & Secondary Idle Jet (50) the wrong way round - but what difference would that make?
