Johnny Boy Posted December 20, 2020 Report Posted December 20, 2020 I went out for hoon this morning, and started hearing unusual noises, of the kind that worry you. Got out had a look around, couldn't see anything, it sounded like a prop u/j ,wheel speed related. I was only about 5 miles from home, so drove home slowly. Got it up on the ramp , prop good suspect the diff or broken halfshaft. Noise from o/s wheel, no movement ,but strange clicking sound. Pulled the shaft out , and the wheel bearing had collapsed. New bearing then🙄

Johnny Boy Posted December 26, 2020 Author Report Posted December 26, 2020 Well............... I managed to buy a pair of 1966 on bearings.................. I need 1965 ones................. So I've now ordered the correct ones, but they won't be here for a week or more.🙄
