High beam on one headlight only??

Hi all

Before I start to take things apart at the weekend, has anyone ever had only one headlight working on High beam?

Bulb works fine on normal dip lights, but when you flash or flick onto high beam only one side goes onto high beam???

Not the bulb as I've tried a brand new one as well.

Are there separate relays for left and right high beam or anything daft like that

No separate relays!

If it 'really' isn't the bulb (swapped left to right and vice versa?) then there is a break in the wire somewhere!

Yeah, tired the original bulb and a brand new one and the same

I'll have to chase the wire back and see if I can find a break, wasn't sure if there was a separate left and right relay or something daft that I'd forgotten about when putting it back together

Gonna have a play around again at the weekend, probably a lose or broken wire somewhere, but just thought I'd test the water for any hints.

I'll get my voltmeter out of retirement 🤣
