Recaro seats onto mk2 subframes

Hey you lovely lot, it’s me again… this time I’m getting rid of my omp bucket seats and putting in somme recaros…  in terms of getting them in is there any easy way to get them to fit or do they fit the old rs turbo/Capri recaros straight In? Thanks

I only ever put recaros in one of my old cars, I fitted 4dr Sapphire Cosworth leather from seats in my old Harrier ( a sad tale for another day)

Used the MK2 runners and made a steel cross frame for them, they were a lot wider than Escort seats so they were snug and kissed the door cards.

A bit crude, but it worked OK.

you can use the original ones like these on the picture, as used on rs2000 and capri's with recaro's, cheers marcel
