deltamal Posted October 21, 2022 Report Posted October 21, 2022 No not recreational! my Capri slipper diff was getting noisey and clunked when changing from overun to power, the same one that was used for a few years at the Pod - not done too badly, so Iv'e replaced it with a Blackline helical gear lsd, direct replacement and no problems changing it, seem's to be good so far but I need to do some long runs to bed it in, makes an easy fix for not too much money....🙂
Johnny Boy Posted October 21, 2022 Report Posted October 21, 2022 I'm using a Blackline helical in my Cortina, it works great, no noises, you would not know it was in there. I ran 500 miles, and changed the oil, as a running in precaution. 1
Gareth_C_79 Posted October 23, 2022 Report Posted October 23, 2022 Im also using a blackline helical geared diff. I changed the oil after about 1000 miles. Had no problems with it at all. I find it fairly quiet and it does exactly what I wanted it to 😉
