looking for a set of 2 plastic sliders ( dont know there proper name) the bits that go on the carpet that allows the seat to move back and forth over, so you dont damage the carpet ?

if theyre what i thinking your asking for, firstly youd need to know side, as one on each side is handed, but they generally come as a set of 4, for both front seats, and stage 1 motorsport do the set new

hi Ray

i am confused now, i thought the flat parts of the siders went on the carpet, and the piece with the lip on went on the tunnel to stop the seat rising up, but looking at stage 1 site, they sell a pack of 4, so i am lost now ?

thanks

all 4 screw to the floor, my car that has them, dosnt have anything over the tunnel runner

the seat naturally has a loose side to it so to speak, where you can lift it a bit before the seat clip catches on the tunnel runner

the result is seat movement when your driving, thats the way they are

the riser on the side stops the rear of the seat sliding skew, maintaing the seat release clip to be correctly located against the tunnel

thanks ray

thats the pic i saw on stage 1 yesterday, its the bit that holds the seat down thats what i could do with a picture off, my car has had a new floor so not sure if there is something that should be welded to the flor, that holds the catch on to, to stop the seat from lifting up ?

hi Ray

many thanks mate, thats exactly what i mean, i have the two brackets, and didnt know if they went on top or underneath the carpet !!!, but looking at that 1300e i can see they attach to the steel, and the carpet is cut around it, that is perfect, may thanks, and i have brought the screws to attach the floor plates from Billy at Escort RS so all sorted now

bugger, i knew they hadnt done it right, means i will have to take it apart now and get them welded on
