VMD-Andy Posted June 11 Report Posted June 11 Im looking for the alternator bracket for the pinto to stop the alternator hitting the servo, must be like hens teeth to find nowadays but thought with all the updates to modern power units there may be a few hanging about wanting to be used once more, or is there another bracket from a Capri or Granada that also does the same job.
Miniliteman Posted June 11 Report Posted June 11 Do you want the alloy alternator bracket for the Pinto or the one with the lowered alternator mount? (RS)
VMD-Andy Posted June 11 Author Report Posted June 11 Its the lowered RS version I'm after, are they like rocking horse poo to find?
Chriscross Posted June 11 Report Posted June 11 I may have one, I'll check tomorrow when I'm up the workshop. The one I have if I can find it will be the mk1 version, it's cast not alloy 1
Chriscross Posted June 11 Report Posted June 11 Have you phoned Escort Tec, Mark & Darran are usually very helpful
VMD-Andy Posted June 11 Author Report Posted June 11 I havent called Escort Tec as I watch their eBay listing,
Miniliteman Posted June 12 Report Posted June 12 Have one here without the 2 mounting rubbers (you could change them over from a normal mount) but with the proper tensioner bracket. If you can't find one over there (I am in the Netherlands). 1

Chriscross Posted June 13 Report Posted June 13 Been through my boxes of spares and couldn't find it, but I know I definately had one. I'll go back to the powder coaters as it was with loads of other parts I had coated. Leave it with me. 1
