What's this CWP out of, then?

Hi all,

Clearing out my junk/parts from storage and I've found this English CWP, the crownwheel has 33 teeth and the pinion 9, which works out at 3.66. Can't say I've heard of this ratio so what's it come from?

Count the pinion again, could be 8. Then it's a 4.125 .

Definitely 9 on the pinion.

Then it is an Opel / GM part .

it's 9 on the pignion; and 33 on the crownwheel, it's not escort mk1/2 or cortina mk4/5, so you can trow it away, also becaurse the pinion teeth are sharp, and i think the sides have also a lot of wear, it's scrap, sorry it's not to piss you of, cheers marcel

Yeah it's definitely past its best! Was going to bin it, was just curious. It bolts up perfectly to the diff gear carrier out of my Mk1. Strange.
