I finally got one

 

Here she is:

 

 

To get it through the MOT i need to buy:

• 2 tyres (235/50 R13) - hard to find
  Exhaust
  Seats need blocks to raise them for me and bolting in
  Harnesses
  Fuel pump - electric
  Filter housing

 

Things i have that need fitting:

• Battery needs wiring in and cut off switch
  Indicators need fitting in
  Number plate light
  Door mechanisms needs fitting
  Windscreen wipers need fitting (need blades)
  Choke cable
  Steering wheel needs fitting

 

Things i want to do:

• Refurb alloys
  Round headlights
  Re-chrome all the chrome (wiper blades, door handles, window wipers, badges, widow trim, bumpers etc)
  Bonnet stay
  Strut Brace
  Re-sticker the mexico stickers
  Black carpet (open to ideas)
  Center console for switches

 

Bit of work, but will be hopefully finished in a couple of months

Re your bumpers, I'd recommend reproduction polished stainless ones, cheaper than rechroming and will never deteriorate.

Yeah it was on ebay and didnt reach the reserve so i called to go see it I was refreshing the page for the last 5 mins!!

 

The drive was well worth it!

 

I rang speedshack about the tyres he said they are long gone and nr impossible to get hold of...

Its a 1600 x-flow with twin 40's n we think its cammed, it sounds amazing! So happy! cant wiat til its through the MOT and i can drive it
