Anyone having trouble purchasing things from Italy?

Hey guys, is there some transport problem or something when trying to purchase items from Italy at the moment? Even simple Ebay stuff? I have tried to buy something yesterday and paid for it even the postage they asked for but they cancelled the purchase saying that the postage was too expensive even though I had already paid it? I had the same thing happen a couple of months back too. It seems very erratic getting items out of Italy at the moment and wondered if there was any cause?

Probably means the postage they quoted and charged you wasn't enough to cover what it was actually going to cost, which they didn't find out until they took it to the post office.

Not aware of any problems but I haven't bought anything from Italy in some time now.

That was possible as he did say it was more but I even offered to pay the extra but he went silent and just left everything cancelled

Sill 40 euro postage just for a pair of sunnies is still a rip-off but i really wanted them as they were the same as a pair I just lost and got use to driving with them. I offered to pay the extra but he didnt want to proceed anyways.
