Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted Friday at 13:36 Moderator Report Posted Friday at 13:36 The Drivers seat switch in my Focus has given up the ghost and is not readily available here. 4M5T-14A701-BA I have noticed that there are after market ones for American cars on the left hand side but cant seem to see them for right hand drive cars. There is one on Ebay but im worried it too may have the same fault. Is this something you can buy in an auto accessory store or a rare speciality item now discontinued?
Johnny Boy Posted Friday at 17:27 Report Posted Friday at 17:27 (edited) I don't think there is any aftermarket ones in the UK, as you say 1 on ebay here for £20 i think id give that a try. If not, wait until I get back to work on Monday, I'll get a trade price from Ford , on a genuine one, and can post it to you. Edited Friday at 17:29 by Johnny Boy can't speel 1

Would something like that even be available new? I know when I tried to get a new circuit board that operates the auto transmission round the lever I was told its not available any longer and have been waiting for even a second hand one to become available.
Johnny Boy Posted Friday at 19:37 Report Posted Friday at 19:37 I don't work for Ford , the firm I work for run a fleet of ford's. I get access to trade prices. I can check on Monday if it's available, and cost. It's more likely available here than Australia 🙂
Johnny Boy Posted Friday at 19:38 Report Posted Friday at 19:38 What's the part number of the auto bit you want, I can check that too.

I am having trouble with that as our auto transmissions seem different to the ones in UK. Ours have tiptronic and it was an idiot mechanic who engaged that that sent everything haywire

Im guessing a new one would cost alot more even if it was available?
Johnny Boy Posted Tuesday at 09:01 Report Posted Tuesday at 09:01 Trying to sort a new one , can you pm me the chassis number🙂

The part number above is correct though as the one on Ebay and my one both have the same number.
Johnny Boy Posted Tuesday at 09:46 Report Posted Tuesday at 09:46 I've got access to the ford Web site , so the number should work. It's worth a try
