help please guys would this power a . 2.5 hp compresser if not i may use my smaller one at 1.5 hp ...

check the watage on the compressor motor if its under 750w it will work. dont forget thats a two stroke generator 50:1 oil mix

No chance a rough guide is about 1000w per hp that thing is designed to power the lights in a caravan. its only 700w forget it.

What he said, not a hope i'm afraid mate, to run a compressor will need some serious kva, especially due to the power needed to start the thing.

ive asked similar and been told no also my dad said it wouldnt but then i never did try others say it might do if you find out let me know

thats 750 w which is a 3 amp o/p. you need 10 minimum. if you got no power look at a petrol driven compressor (build it) ?
