JAY PS Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 I been bitten by your site back late last year and was looking for an 80s FORD when i saw my old Granada 2.8i for sale so i bought it back I owned the car back in 1991 and kept it until 2000 when i bought a Sapphire Cossy and a mint XR4x4 The new owner had it a year or so and then had a stroke and i bought the car back ,i drove it twice and then garaged it until 2001 when it was sold to finance a house move I have since bought a lovely 2.8GL saloon with only 88,000miles and a Ghia X with only 34,000miles . You can ask why? I dont bloody know ,These cars survive in such small numbers so i suppose i look back to when i was 21 when i drove my first black 2.8i . JAY PS Posted March 30, 2007 Author Report Posted March 30, 2007 Used to be with owners club many years ago (1992) and then the enthausiats club and in the late 2000 i was with The Granada collection ,which i believe has been dispanded >shame as the collection was just a group of likeminded Garnada nuts who disliked the Car Club madness that surounds the bigger clubs ,for example the back stabbing and the "your cars better than mine "thing that you find with clubs as a rule

Just a passing thought. I am on my 7th Granny now and managed not to go all 'GRANNYFIED' to the bone! It would be good to get a load together. Cheers for the advice

matt 476 Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 My first road car was a mk2 grannie 2.8 L manual (was 17 then). Then i drove around in my old mans 2.3Lx manual.. i now own and drive around a 2.8i ghia x on the stick ill try and find sum photos and put them up
