Fiesta Steve Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Don't no what the gearbox is worth but the engine could be worth anything from £400 to a £1000 depending on exact spec/condition.

antz Posted September 28, 2006 Author Report Posted September 28, 2006 get down to GS Escorts!!!! they have 1600 x-flows for £50+ and any other bits you may need!!!! ..actually i could do with giving them a ring. i need some lowering springs and they have engines you say...VEEEEERRRRYYYY INTERESTING!
Jimsiss Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 I don't know why you'd want to go anywhere else, they have everything you need they always have 1600 crossflows in, they seem to have this never ending supply, either that or they can't get rid of them
antz Posted September 28, 2006 Author Report Posted September 28, 2006 that is true. i have used them many times before and never had any problems. i should really get in touch because i need some lowering springs and while im at it might as wel enquire about some other bits and bats
antz Posted September 28, 2006 Author Report Posted September 28, 2006 i cant slot a 1.6pinto onto my existing geabox or i would. i want a xflow because its easy to fit and i dont have to chop anythign about. ill have to give G.S.ESCORTS a call when i get time.
Jimsiss Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 it can be done without chopping but its too much work for you to do as it would take a few days to do and you need the car asap, don't forget GS Escorts are closed sunday and monday for deliveries
antz Posted September 28, 2006 Author Report Posted September 28, 2006 just emailed them now. if i dont get a reply ill have to phone them up sometime. thanks jumsiss you are a star. i forgot about G.S.ESCORTS what a plonker!
