classicfordken has a little problem just picked up his new 2.8i sp and just broke a leaf spring with me driving :oops: if anybody going to wirral meet tomorrow has a single leaf spring for sale can you bring it with you let me or ken know if you have one or a pair :thumbsup:

ye it drives good maybe brakes need bleeding though bloddy quick faster than most 2.8s i recon and once in it it feels like a quality car a good buy albeit for the leaf spring we'll get it sorted mate dont worry .

If you were smoking it a bit, then yeah, they do like a drop when you put your foot down :wink:

 

The U-bolts will be rusty, so give them a soak before you remove, but to be honest, they don't cost fortunes, so for extra piece of mind, I think I would fit new ones.

 

As for the bushes, I am not sure if they will come with bushes or not. If I remember rightly, these can be a pain to fit, but if you get Superfles poly bushes, they should be cut in half, which makes fitting them easier.
