EscortHeadCase Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 oh wow. was he proper pride and joy about that car or was it not "special to him". If i totalled my dads evo hed be pissed but id still be breathing , however if i totalled his rwd gartracced cossie puma which hes only just finished after 6-7 years. He would get one of his excavators and i would end up very, very deep underground......

lotusless Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 he is in ireland gets back tonight i was meant to be picking him up from the airport may i sugest you dont use the jag sorry its not funny really glad your ok m8
Messenjah Posted July 30, 2009 Author Report Posted July 30, 2009 passenger side rear coming left off a roundabout car started to spin i over corrected spun it the other way
EscortHeadCase Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Ok, may i suggest you go for the age old technique for telling your rentals something bad happened. Make them think its something worse first. Ive only needed it once. made mine think my ex gf was pregnant when i was about 16. All id done was get a piercing.... You may need to imply the house has burnt down though to make the jag seem like a better piece of news....
BIGKEV Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Be honest - nearside rear wheels dont blow out unless they are being thrown about like a fooker - youre a dead man - your dad aint gonna beleive it was a blowout that caused the crash dude
Messenjah Posted July 30, 2009 Author Report Posted July 30, 2009 kev ... i know ... but it wasnt being thrown about like a fairy i mustve picked up something that then releived the tyre of all its air ..... only other time ive had all the air suddenly leave a tyre was when i picked up a 6 inch bolt in the tyre .... if i had been thrashing it around i would admit to that but the simple fact is i wasnt the tyre just popped i dont know why .... wet slippery roads i wouldnt have got enough grip to pop the fairy off the rim by chucking it too hard into a corner anyway
antz Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 I once had a tyre blow out as I reversed into a parking space! The beading round the edge of the tyre gave way and it went BANG then was flat as a pancake within seconds.
BIGKEV Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Can you try and find the cause mate - at the end of the day - its just a car and I take it your not hurt ? He might grizzle and try to castrate you but its just a car.
Messenjah Posted July 30, 2009 Author Report Posted July 30, 2009 i think ive cracked a rib round the back as ive done that before and this jurts asbout the same ... but only when i breathe ... my arm is cut up a bit and my head hurts but im not too bad and i will trty and investigate mate but i drove it about 200 yrds like that ... to get it off the road and avoid the £105 towing fee the police impose for removing a vehicle
