Well not strictly hot rods, but that's what it originally started out as... The meets are every Tuesday evening, Griffin pub in Warmley, east Bristol but they can be a bit unpredictable. We went this week as the weather was good so knew there would be a big turnout. There was & some bloody cool motors Excuse the quality, camera phone It's not always a great turnout like that, this is the busiest meet I have been to. We do go most weeks if the weather's ok so if you want to come along go for it

Low as it will go Joe I have to drive mine onto wooden ramps to get the trolley jack under the crossmember & the diff housing

At the moment mine is running a standard 4 speed after 3rd gear went. It was one of those ''i'll chuck a standard box in temporarily because I got one sat here'' So, standard drivetrain except 4.1 LSD.

There was one on the next trading estate to my work always outside a bodyshop a few years back now. Don't ever know what happened with it though, it was quite bad but definately saveable. Was a white one too.

I like it. I would own a rat-look motor Mainly applies to the hot rods though & the VW scene I would say. Then again..... What do most people think of Mick Rogers Cortina????

He text me about 11.00 Friday night, had car troubles near Milton Keynes Wasn't sure what was happening, he holed his oil filter Glad he got a few runs in though.
