Wow that sounds a lot of money.
Would be nice to have a new mint spoiler, a couple of my fixing points have rusted on mine but theres no way I can afford that.
A doris across the road to me had a mk2 escort she had a little nock and damaged front wing and steering rack. It's been sitting in her garage about 15 years I tried to buy it off her once a week for about 4 months her husband said he was going to restore it but he never did. And now they have moved don't no what happened to the car.
That control box looks brilliant so it's just a case of running your cables to your lights, indicators, fuel pump. Ect and that is all the relays and fuses you need.
Thanks
Has anyone tried rewiring there car themselves. I was working on my mk2 escort when I noticed the stated of the wiring cables twisted together damaged cables ect. I am an electrician so I no about wiring I no cars are a bit different but was going to give It a go. How hard is it worth giving it a go?
Just wondering where I might find a wiring diagram complete with cable sizes and relay types
Cheers
I am running willwood 4 pots on the front and a disc conversion with no servo.
The brakes are terrible I can push as hard as I can and it wont even lock the wheels.
I no with out a servo it's a hard pedal but this is a joke, any ideas what could be wrong.
Thanks

Don't worry how quick it all about the buzz I ran my focus 1.8zetec and got 17.?? A few years ago just want to beat that in my 1600 escort.
First time in an OSF.
thanks everyone i put it into google and a load of topics come up not all on escort but a lot said lsd's can be clunkie at low speeds.
anyone agree or not
yes it did go on the rolling brake test can the damage be repaired or is the diff f**ked.
if i take the diff out will the damage be visible.
thanks for the quick responce.
the escort just passed its mot so just got to get tax and im all road legal.
but on the way home i noticed a real loud clunking sound coming from the rear axle its running a lsd that had all new seals when it was put back in the car and only done about 15 miles.
i took the wheels off and when i turn the half shaft there is a fair bit of movement berfore it turns the other wheel is that normal.
