Had this made for my Mk1 Tina but never used it on the Car, however it was used to mount a Ford Pop 100e, bolt on brkts were made to get the 100e on this spit, these brackets I no longer have, the spit has been modified / strengthened from the original build, could poss deliver for fuel, I'm in Newark notts, best to collect in a van as it does not come apart, except for the centre long tie bars, although I brought it home at the time it was made on my Astra estate roof rack lol the ford pop would not quite do 360 deg turn how we had it mounted, but it was built for the cortina to do 360 £160 ovno, might swap for some parts i'm looking for plus cash my way if you have them looking for Corsair V4 engine mounts with or without crossmember, essex V6 water pump, Mk1 cortina automatic steering column binnicals, with gear indicator on top of steering wheel column, maybe even the whole column / box ? regards, Pete..............07734 802699

its common on the essex V6 to corrode full of rust around the front left cylinder as you sit in the car, the one by the block drain plug, I've found on loads that when you take the block drain plug out no water comes out, sure sign the water jacket is blocked up, so its heads off really caustic soda i have tried a couple of times, it will clean the block of dirt, grease, oil and any scale but wont actually touch any of the iron rust, so you may need to try the special made chemicals mentioned Pete

5 Lotus steels with new tyres, spare unused but other 4 have done about 200 miles rims are in good nick but some have pitting under the paint on the rear inner rims, and all except the spare have scratches where some fool fitted chrome embellishers which have nasty sharp teeth, so really they will need repainting on outside? I have brought these back from france for a friend to sell, the wheels can be viewed and or collected from Newark upon trent.
