Decided to take the Capri over to the KrispyKreme Rod meet yesterday....basically , got as far as the roundabout outside and the top rad hose decided to let go big stylee !!! Loads a steam and crap out the bonnet Anyways , a big thanks to Wayne Wigger ,Mr WPE himself , one for answering the phone that early on a Sunday and pointing me in the direction of my 2nd saviours of the day....... .....XL Motor Spares @ Raynes Park Top bloke who owns the shop ! Let me route around the back of his shop in 5 boxes of hoses until i found one that would fit...and use of a screwdriver as well...all for the price of £5 So if there was ever a case of keeping these oldskool motor factors alive , this is one shop i would deffo vote for

You may laugh , but you can"t beat the mileage i get out of me Julies Citroen Xsara Picasso i do Fletham to Epsom and back daily , and Julie goes Feltham to Weybridge and back daily , plus the school run , shopping etc etc all on £30 a week....roughly i am using about half a tank of diesel . Oh , and towed a twin wheel caraven no probs to Cornwall.....didn"t like the hills too much , but then again , its not a Range Rover V8 diesel Oh , and it costs less to Tax than the Capri

There are absolutely no problems with her at all.....as Mk3 Cokebottle said in his post above , she is a musclebound bundle of fun....!!! The only reason there is a time limit as such is because my Wife knows that i will keep postponing the ineventful if i get my way....as in she ain"t going

This is not good Unfortunately , having only saved her from the dogs home 5 months ago , i am having to look at re-homing my American Bulldog So , if anyone is interested in a 11month old full breed American Bulldog bitch , fully inoculated and micro -chipped , get in touch sharpish....the Wife has given me til the weekend to sort this out Alternitively , if anyone has any sensible ideas for re-homing her , please let me know Cheers

In answer to all your questions , the answer is 3 people turned up , and 1 of them was me Now this may look like and sound like sour grapes and to be perfectly honest it is ......to say i wasted my 1 day off a week is an understatement . My boy spent his school lunchtime making up some flyers , i posted on 3 different websites , and got fook all response . Yes i am p****d off . Fair play to Dazza for getting a great turnout at his 1st meet , maybe i should have driven over there instead........ I won"t be sorting anymore meets out , can"t be bothered with the hassle . Think i"ll just turn up at someone elses instead....then you can all point and laugh ....... Cheers PS. Just incase anyone is thinking it , i know OSF owners and the like have lives outside of OldSkool meets etc etc.......
