Simple answer, Not enough paint, A mate of mine had his resprayed after a couple of years the back of the wings by the A posts had only primer on and no top coat. There is a story going around that they intended to only make 500 cars so ordered enough paint for that many cars, and some one noticed that there was 1038 shells still in the factory so they used them up, so they had to stretch out the paint to do the cars with. Yep you need to book to show your car but it is free to visit I think it opend to the public at 11 oclock but pepole usaly stsrt comming in about 10, We have a stand and I got 8 tickets and i think that only 6 are comming so may have a couple of tickets spare. Mickey c
