I've never used any additives In my crossflows which includes 'race' spec engines and daily drivers, none seemed to have suffered any signs of abnormal wear due to the lack of lead. <br /> I'm not suggesting you do nothing but it certainly isn't worth worrying about, but what do I know lol

I guess it will also depend on what's meant by 'occasional road use' . Driving to pod is one thing but if you wanted a tear up on the back roads are ladders able to keep up with a 4 linked car..

Not heard of 45 profile in 175, only 195.<br />The side wall of the 175/50 and 195/45 are exactly the same size..

The problem is the "occasion road use" bit. I don't think ladders work to well when it comes to corners, so I guess it's 4 or 5 link..

Looks like its an Evo2 then.. I have no idea why it's been brought over, I work for a removals and shipping company and we move expensive cars all over the world all the time, but only a few (like this one) really get my attention !!

Hmm, I just see the system as an elongated tail pipe, it does very little other than carry gases to the back of the car and provide somewhere handy to hang a slincer. Once the gases have left the manifold it's job done as far as performance/fuelling go. Just my take on things..<br /><br /> Hopefully you can get it sorted without to much bother
