No such thing as wastegate chatter mate. compreser stall, turbo surge, whatever you wanna call it. everyone knows it as wastegate chatter. what do you call it?

deep breath in... right, firstly i believe its over 15milluion units with not a single failure. right, the vtec, well firstly its absolutly genius, the honda S2000 engine produces 247bhp as standard, so if you want 250 then you wont have to do anything. its also an all ally engine and comes with a 6 speed in the S2000's i believe. also there very economical around town as only 8 valves open(4 inlet, 4 exhaust, the other 8 only open 1mm off the seat)) but when you hit 4500rpm hold on!!! people say there not very torquey engines and are right in a sense, but show me a highly tuned crossflow with a good torque figure. also, there respond very very well to supercharging, the charger overcomes the torque issue and makes it a tad more responsive at low revs. they use the supercharged s2000 engine in the ariel atom and i saw one run a 10.9 at the pod at the weekend in standard form. they do a three stage vtec, but im not sure if thats the one they use in the S2000's. if you wanna know how it all works just ask.

bloody hell kev, glad your ok mate. as everyones says sounds like its run on its own oil. if it ran till it stopped then the engine is knackered. might have even chucked a rod which is what normall happens. its gonna need a new un bud. best thing to do if it ever happens to anyone is chuck the car in 5th, hard on the brakes and stall it if poss.

apparently the 2 of them set it up for 250 quid each. and have just sold it for 900million. in my book that isnt a bad profit margin.
