  7. Looking for some advice on ladder bars . I've got them fitted just now on my 105e Anglia, they mount at the front in line with the front leaf spring mount, this makes the length just over 20inches from bolt at the axle end to bolt at front. Not sure if i could benefit from changing the length as i'm now changing the rear axle. still thinking on keeping the leafs and milton rear adjustable shock setup. Any advice on this would help

  13. This post has just been copied from a nissan forum that I have a build thread on... Got another update on the bodywork/engine bay work being carried out on the car Worthy of a mention to a mate of mine scottie who has been cutting and rebuilding the bulkhead for the past two weeks :sxoc: Anyway, these pics show whats been happening. The bulkhead has had to be cut to allow the engine to be moved back another two inches. This should be a help to power/wieght distribution in the car and it allows me to fit everything in :wack: When the anglia was standard there was a slight lip behind the engine and I have again kept that to make it look like an SR is meant to be there! The sump has also had to be adapted to allow it to fit! I have ways of compensating for the small amount of volume that has been lost through things such as an oil cooler relocation kit Inside the tunnel has been fully remade and I have had to lower my steering 20mm. I do not have pics of this yet but I will upload them soon. Over the weekend the car will be getting prepped to go for paint so that will probably be the next update that I put up! Cheers, Jim
  14. Thanks for the comments The engine mounting etc is coming along nicely so il hopefully get more pics at the weekend! Jim.
  15. Here is another update for the 2011 season on my car. I should really have kept a project thread on this site to allow everyone to see the many phases the car has gone through This time I have changed the twin charge setup I was running last year and replaced it with a JDM spec redtop SR20DET. I have spent the last 3 or 4 months building up a stock on parts to allow me to get started and just last week I took the car round to a mates to have the bulkhead cut again. The tunnel has also had to be romoved to allow the new box to fit. I will show pics and if anyone is looking for more info I will be happy to answer I will get more pics hopefully tonight or tomorrow Jim.
  16. Im trying to find a place to buy an aluminium radiator , for my Anglia im currently using an rs 2000 radiator with a good core , but im changing my engine for a nissan sr 20 , so im after a radiator that would cool a cosworth turbo

  20. im changing my engine setup from Nissan ca18det to redtop sr20 ,everyone always said the Escort radiator was not up to the job though it did the job. This time its all alloy so im wanting to get best cooling i can. Its inlet and outlet are on the same side as a cossie so is there a rad thet will fit an Anglia possibly with an electric fan to suit, any ideas would be helpfull.
  21. does anyone have any knowlege about these .I've bought a smaller dia pulley and magnet from Australia for my twincharge project .the problem is the new magnet is 24volt, you get this voltage from a transformer (this may be a converter) supplied with the kit. when i energize the magnet the outer clutch cover slips , you can move it by hand when you put it back to the original 12volt magnet. with the same front cover it grips. anyone got any ideas , i don't want to give up on this
