Anyone used one or found a good one? After my big bulkhead renovation and Xe install I need to find a decent hot air blower to de-mist the front screen and possibly keep my hands warm Looked on kitcar sites etc but all look the same 200 -150 w fans with ceramic heaters. Any ideas chaps? and no i cant be arsed with sorting out a mini matrix with fan!!!

Mate I've got a digidash in mine, I got Kev at WPE to wire it in, but he reckons its very straight forward, Its all pretty clear on instructions, speedo goes to a magnetic sender, i attached to back of hub, rev's gets signal from pulse from HT lead. if your need more help give WPE a mesage on their support page

Use Rustoleum metal paint, american version of hammerite, much better quality and better finish, we use it on all the metal work at work. Get it from Trade paints, if you have to brush.

Ok Adrian flux called back , a very nice girl spent ages and got me, fully comp, agreed value after i send pics and they have an assesor look at it, 3rd party on any other car, european cover and roadside assist for £420. Still think theres a better deal out there.

Also what you reckon i say about mileage? 1500 or 3000, bearing in mind i'm doing alot of europe this year! does mileage count abroad if your using a different insurance when travelling abroad?

OK Performance direct came back with £399 fully comp with 4000 agreed value and 400 excess? not sure but think i could do better than that. Any more advice? Think it may be the XEengine thats causing it?

Found out today that one of my fitters at work is .....wait for it! Jim Clark's great nephew!! And actually owns his last racing lotus up in a museum in scotland!!! Thats near enough royalty in my books!! Me thinks a trip up to see the museum (free entrance naturally!) is in order! He's gonna dig out some old memorbilia for me, got his old crash hat, gloves, jacket etc! Been working with him for years and only found out today!!!

Mate I'm thinking we need to get together and sort out some opposing schemes, just so noone gets us confused ha ha! Have you thought about graphite stripes and wheels maybe with a red pinstripe detail, real retro colours with a modern twist? I've changed my mind a thousand times about my car, got something spesh planned for the wheels tho!

cheers for responses lads, its going a shitload lower at the back when the new shorter shocks arrive, the rs rims are going (as much as i love people thinking i'm tom!) for a set of .......? something secret. And yes a digidash is installed, many thanks to kev at WPE for wiring it up! Once the moneys come in expect to see it at every meet possible! got to make up for the last 5 years of building her! some more pics in return.

I'm Still waiting to sort some financial problems out before I can get Wayne and Kev at WPE to put the finishing touches on the carbs (sorry for delay gents!) But this is when i test drove it a couple of weeks back! Love it! My dad Rekindling his youth! He's well proud cant wait till its finished proper
