recieved my square tin blk/slvr plate today but i have no car coz its in the paintshop

more progress today. the car is now finished all rust killed and treated and its now at the paint shop ready to get flattened smoothed and painted.... here are some more pics. lol while we wer their we also sorted every bit of rust on the underneath of the car aswell and the boot and under petrol tank and spare wheel chassis etc etc:lol: wen this is done their wont be one bit of rust on the car till next time was bloody fun driving to the spray specialists with no windows :lol: i get my car back next week some time cant wait.!!!!!!!!! original colour.........yuk hola

update on todays progress panel fitted like a glove.... u cant beat a genuine panel plus all the welding on the roof is done and new plates for rotten bits in the A farme for the windows. and boot frame and under the fuel tank. i cant wait to see it finished!!!!!!!! ANOTHER EARLY START FOR DAD ABOUT TO DRIVE TO THE WORKSHOP WITH THE WIND FREEZING OFF HIS CHEEKS LOL A VERY PAINFULL SIGHT COULDNT GET MUCH MORE ACCURATE glad we cut this bit out thanks more tomorow

my car is probably soaking wet inside by now and its bare metal on the roof i hope their is a cover over my car while they are working on it

my dad just asked me to wash his RS2000, the only thing ive ever been aloud to do in that car is sit in the parrenger seat while he drives it bloody hell he must be going mad!! i wonder if he will let me take it for a spin to blow the drips off

well the car went off at 8 am today to get the panell fitted and a load of other bits welded up. eg. roof, bottom of rear window rubber mount. a lil chassis hole etc cmes home tonight then off to the painters on monday. iff not tonight. i cant wait, hope it all goes well.

im quite happy with my 1.3 xflow to be honest 80+ miles to 10quid of fuel. wen i get my upgrade itl be defo a 1700 x-flow sucking on 40's gota keep it oldskool you cant beat the sound of a screaming crosflow. (going past at 20mph)

Those should be on a 7" rim ... they will lose cornering ability on anything less than 7 what do you sugest then on my rs alloys?

yer i know wat u are saying i currently have 175/65 firestones on mine and they kinda stretch out slightly to the rims so its not too bad. was thinking of getting a539 but they dont look much different to the ones i have already. wat tyres do you sugest???

yes my dad had his steering wheel re leathered they did an amazing job. i saw all the cars they wer working on too.............. aston martins to mg midgets they do a brill job mate.
