  1. Christ, that reminds me, mine still say 2.2. Where were you thinking of going? I use Raydor on the city estate for signwriting my vans. He should be able to sort it out.

He said about £450 for 32 sq m. I think that's delivered aswell. Price of the joists depends on what size you need, how far apart you are spacing them etc..

I've got a mate with a wood yard who's supllying me with a load next week, doubt he's the cheapest but at least it's good quality. A mate of mine did a bit of shopping around and ended up getting it from Wickes. Could try Bats in Strood, they deliver as well.
  4. Must fit 5 speed Must fit 5 speed Must fit 5 speed
  5. Better or worse than Brunters? From what I remember its the same type of surface, last time I was at North Weald was ten years ago and I ran my dad's 3000GT. You don't really have to worry about grip in that!
  6. You can come with me in my nice comfy van as I'll probably have pulled the Escort back off the road by then what was up with your motor at brunters then?clutch? gearbox The spline on the type 9 was too short for my clutch so the rear clutch plate was only on the back of the spline a couple of mm. So it ripped itself off. Put the 4 speed back in to get me to Chelsea on Sat night, which confirmed the fact that I NEED a 5 speed as coming back at 45-50 at 4000rpm wasn't pleasent.
  7. Not far from me, s'pose I'll have to make sure the Escort is running for then.

  9. Got an MOT yet?
  10. Well done to all concerned Is there a meeting at Brands?
  11. Nice pics Don't think many people missed the Escortec boys, nice one lads
  12. Was a good night even though I had to leave early. Highlighted a few problems I need to get sorted on my car aswell, mainly the exhaust being too low, or so I'm told
  13. I wouldn't touch that with yours
  14. Well done for getting it running, just remember no 9k burnouts Well there's not much tread left on my tyres so I won't get away with much tonight
  15. Well my car is running so I'm definately there
  16. Can't believe I have to travel so far to my local meet every month, it's no wonder I'm always late Not as far as Mr Bronze RS though
  17. I thought I'd put this in here so that no-one misses it. Hopefully my car will be running so do the Medway mob want to meet for a convoy up to Chelsea. How about the Little Chef on the A2 just past Cobham, for 6:30 to get to Thurrock services for 7:00? Steve
  18. Ignore my times, they were terrible, I think.
  19. Sorry Wayne but we've all been sworn to secrecy
  20. No can do. On the type E the input shaft spline continues into the clutch release bearing sleeve but on the type 9 it stops 10mm short, that's where the problem is, the rear clutch plate is only sitting on the last 2mm of the spline.
  21. Does anyone know if you can swap the input shaft from a type E into a type 9? The type 9 that I've just fitted only has 30mm of spline which isn't enough for my twin plate clutch, where as my old type E has a long spline on it. Spoke to quaife and they don't do anything with a longer spline so how does everyone else get round this? Type E: Plenty of length! Type 9: Not enough! Sorry for the bright pics but the camera I was using isn't the best!
  22. Don't be silly, come to Chelsea
  23. Nice one Gaz Although we knew it was coming! 12's easy with some A048's, if the shafts can take it!
