i'd like to use the original mounts for the gearbox x-member on my mk1 when i fit the type 9, and was wondering if anyone makes some sort of adapter mount so you can just bolt it to the original holes, and mount the crossmember to the adapter block instead of bolting a sierra/capri mount up through the floor of the car. any ideas? i basically have to insure 5 cars, and i must be paying out nearly 2k a year in total. Although the 3dr is on agreed value..... i have a pug 406 estate, which is costing me £400 a year on 3rd party. a jeep cherokee which isnt insured yet, but they want £500 3rd party only off of me, which is a joke. my 2 mk1's cost me about £400 in total and my 3dr £600. now, the 3dr can stay as it is, but the other 4 would be good if they could all go on one policy to save me money.

Im thinking of taking out a traders policy for a couple of my motors, and im always changing cars etc, but was wondering what the deal is with it all? What does it cover you for? What cars can you use? Any restrictions/drawbacks at all? Cheers!

nah, at the fly mate. He bought the head off someone who had "home" ported it, and TBH, was a heap of shat. So steve at vulcans Did all he could to revive it and get it to flow as nice as it does (100% better than the mess it was!) and makes that power on a 4-2-1 manifold.

For setting up my mates N/A Cossie MK2 Escort. It now drives spot on, and the service down there is A1. The Rollers have been fitted really professionally, and are spotless.
