its got twin fans so i think the current draw has nailed it.

the 7" dont look flat anyway, had them on my mk1.

7.5's will rub wont they? you'd need 7's

but its on the earth side and i didnt think you could overload a earth?

has anyone had a problem wiring fans THROUGH a fan temp switch at all? ive recently wired up my cossie fans, with a direct power source to battery, through a fuse, then into the fans, and on the earth side it goes out of the fan plug, straight into the fan switch, then from the switch onto a good earth point. Now, they worked fine for one day, and now the switch doesnt work, have i killed it? im doing the same with my mk2 without any problems..... the fans work if you bridge the fan switch wires so the circuit is working fine.

is it 5/16th UNF? need some longer bolts to drop my x-member down.

Ive now put a rs2000 tank in my mk2, but filled it with approx 10 litres of fuel, and its showing just over half a tank of fuel, which cant be right??? Do all the senders use the same resistance? or do the dash's vary? if so, is there any way i could put a in line resistor on the earth lead to give it "less" earth and bring the needle down a bit?

Does anyone have a rough drawing/guide how to set up a 24 volt starting system on a car? bearing in mind the alternator is 12v, how do you charge just the main battery, and not both of them? Reason i ask is, my car HAS to use a Escos Starter motor, but no-one seems to do a high torque one, so my car wont start as the voltage drop to the ecu wont fire the injectors unless the plugs are out! i know mk1gaz had it on his blue escort.... any help would be great.
