  5. Hi Darren. Had a bit of trouble with the beast this week.Power steering hose decided to blow appart and dump fluid all over Morrisons car park But hoses are on order and should be back on the road next week So how's that van going? Sean.
  6. Where did everyone go?
  7. About 15mpg if I go steady but easily ito single figures if I play Thats a 5.8 litre V8.Worth every penny just for the soundtrack
  8. Depends what floats your boat really. I would say look at some of the more unusual cars.Pretty much anything with four doors for example,100e's can still be picked up for sensible money although I don't think that will last Later model Cortina's are still cheap too.You just need to think out of the box a little. My Fairlane for example cost about as much as you would pay for a rotten two door Escort and for that I get an original unwelded two owner 54,000 mile car.Sounds great, goes like stink and turns heads wherever it goes, what more do you need OK I only get 12 miles to the gallon but you can't have everything eh
  9. Does she not understand the need to spend loads of time and cash on useless heaps of junk Nevermind, keep at it mate at least it runs now and if I can help in any way just give me a shout Not relly a great mechanic but I can always give you a push or make the tea Sean.
  10. Hey Darren. Sorry the van's giving you greif mate. Not really up on Pinto's but as mentioned it's gonna be something so simple you'll kick yourself I've always found the best thing to do is walk away for a bit then start right at the begining and just check everything in order If that dosn't work mate I'm more than happy to pop over and kick it for ya Sean.
  11. Bloody hell Leon makes my old motor look economical But look at it this way, thats a lot of quater miles for £20 Sean.

  18. Hello mate. Popular,Anglia and Prefect all came as 100e models. The Anglia and Popular were two door and the Prefect was four door. They were all fitted with the 1172cc sidevalve engine. The 107e was a later version and only came as the Prefect in four door, fitted with the 997 pre-crossflow engine as fitted to the 105e. Hope that helps.
