Don't know why anyone wants to cycle, its horrible, went out on my push bike today (as I seem to be spreading out around the middle) thought it might do me some good, but aching legs and feeling sick seem to be the only results after 90 minutes.
Guy martin is good, as guy martin, hes not Jeremy Clarkson who is top gear really, since the format changed and it became general entertainment instead of primarily a car programme.
Crossflow is too small cc wise and a pinto is too heavy, modern zetec makes much more sense, and yes back in the 80,s I had escorts with crossflow/pinto engines, wouldn't fit either now.
Started to watch this but actually turned it of. Seen it all before, driving apparently nice cars in totally unsuitable places and breaking them, boring now.
Actually the 70,s had good/bad music and good/bad cars, same as the 60,s, 80,s, 90,s, really, and possibly beyond. Don't buy cars or listen to the music past that date.
Not sure how many or which issues as they have been in my loft for at least 10 years, but there is a good few, free to anyone who can collect from south Cambridgeshire. must take the lot,
The mark 1 started life as a 1300 gt to which i added mexico running gear from my rusty mexico and a 2.0 ltr ohc, the ren mk2 was a 1600 sport and the blue mk2 started as a popular which i fitted a 1600cc crossflow, all long gone
if cost is a factor then personally i dont like crossflow or zetec as if fitting twin carbs then you have to spend 2/300 quid on a peddle box. so if not looking for outright power then as already suggested pre cross flo, and that must be the easiest conversion. although i would say look to the future ..... duratec.
