  1. A friend of mine was rung up by someone asking about what he paid on his mobile because they would try to beat it. He said he spend about £30, so the guy on the other end worked out this package for £20 a month, gave him all the details, and asked if that was any good for him. He said, no, £30 a year on his PAYG. The phone inexplicably went dead
  2. Didn't notice the date Thanks Jo
  3. jix, I will apologise for the Irish comment, but in saying that, it seems that the vast majority of people who seem to sniff around OSF's are men driving Shoguns and who have an irish accent...
  4. On that sort of subject, what do those on here think of this? http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/video/Trent-FMs-footage-of-dramatic-arrest-in-Nottingham-city-centre-police-use-taser-gun-on-man/Video/200906315306893?lpos=video_Article_Related_Content_Region_1&lid=VIDEO_15306893_Trent_FMs_footage_of_dramatic_arrest_in_Nottingham_city_centre_police_use_taser_gun_on_man._

  6. Now grudgingly changed my name again, but prefer my old one. Should I go back to Smudger. (with a full stop), Grampy Smudger, keep this one or something else, as it seems the Smudger who beat me to the name and has a post count of 8 in 4 years has made represenations that I have stolen his user name....

  18. Probably best to try and see if they are likely to be considering dismissal, and if they are resign before the disciplinary, or you will have it on your record... The big problem is they put the case for the prosecution, you put the case for the defence, then they decide if they are right or you are right. They are judge, jury and executioner...
  19. Sounds a bit extreme tbh, does it say on your contract of employment that you can't tell her? Just deny you said anything to her, they have to prove it, don't they? My employers put me on a final written warning and demoted me to fitter from Production Manager because I didn't ring head office about an accident....
  20. Preferred LOM, but I A2A too, compelling viewing for me

  23. from the HVCC Stolen MkI Escort, YVJ 548K The car was removed from garage P, Blandford Court, Corby over the weekend of 31 Jan/1 Feb. The vehicle was seen being removed by one of the neighbours who thought it was the owner. The car was next seen on Beanfield Avenue, Corby around lunchtime, 3 Feb, being towed on a four wheel car trailer by a black Peugeot 406 heading towards Cottingham Road. Someone spotted the car being towed north on the M6 near Jct33 between 11.00am and 12.00pm on 4 Feb. The car was on a trailer uncovered with the registration plates exposed. Surely it must have been spotted by the network of cameras on the M6 either at services or on the road itself? Any help greatly appreciated. The theft has been reported to Corby police. Crime number NB/28386/08. The car has been listed on eBay as stolen. Item number 330305630498 Contact Tony Webb Tel: 01536 503568 or 07751 425 516
