I would not call myself a Brown supporter tbh, but I also don't see that getting rid of him would do anything for the Government or the Country. Do people want him to resign because of the recession? That's a world issue. MP's expenses? Why is Cameron not being urged to resign also then?
And if he stood down, Labour would not call a General Election (would you if you just had local election results like happened this week) and so we would have another Labour PM. Who? PM Darling?
You have got to grieve, don't bottle it up, if you wanna cry, then cry, no-one will criticise you for that. I don't do grieving well myself (couldn't take the cat to the vets when I ran her over coz I kept crying!).
Dunno what to say mate, as nothing I write will make your situation any better, but as has been said, time is a healer, but it will take a long long time probably
If it's any help, all your OSF mates are here for you...
Should be written on it, they are valid for 3 years from date of conviction (I think rather than date of offence) but you cannot have them physically removed from your license for a further 12 months after that.
It was funny, the doris was getting more and more annoyed. Him in the gold car, he's banned!! Security!! You're all banned!! No smoking or drinking on the cars (yeah right!) only drive one way (Posse was, different way to everyone else though) no head on bumping, and if you don't klnow what that is, don't come back on...
Yup, year I left school. We had our GCE's that summer, and my school let us take our blazers AND ties off! Major decision for them!
Spent most of my time trying to get into Angela Morgans knickers if I remember correctly...
CF 2009 bumper cars action, who can identify the reprobates on here? I can see Posse, Burns, Pollitt, Big G, Twinkle, Mr & Mrs Mighty Sprocket, Mr & Mrs Leadfoot, HRH Mk3 Coke Bottle, 4parajohn, wierd stalker Belgian bloke...
£1100 a week inc expenses! I think that's bloody good. They wanted to be MP's... why? Because they want to make a difference & share a responsibility in the running of the country & peoples rights etc or cos they want to earn shit loads of money?!
I did say salary EXCLUDING expenses
Looking at that, I agree with Scott, an MP's salary (not salary and expenses) are not good considering the hours, commuting, responsibilty etc. It is OK compared to the average, but their position connot surely be described as 'average'.
Just because someone does lots of hours, doesn't necessarily mean they should be paid shed loads...
