Have a look at the top of page 2 of the pdf I have linked to. Having Baz stuck under the car and having to lift it off him has really bought it home to me more than ever before, and a few simple precautions would have prevented this incident happening. He has learned his lesson, had it on a jack which rolled over. It was lucky his mate and I were here to lift the car off him, as he was trapped underneath, with the car crushing his chest and head. Those marks on his head are not from a blow from the car, more the pressure of it on his skull!! He will use axle stands from now on, and wants others on here to know how easy it is to have an accident if axle stands are not used. He is a lucky lucky boy. And about this nurses outfit Tash...

Vista, They used to do that, but apparently it was against their own guidelines, making a car look newer than it is, as A reg should be on a 1963 vehicle! Age related plate is what you will get, but this will be non transferable, and this will be written on the V5c

The SORN issue is one for the DVLA, although I don't understand why the Police didn't advise the DVLA to clamp or tow it away...

I also thought that there was no tyre protrusion beyond the arches.. I have had a quick look at some other forums, and it seems that the tyre can stick beyond the bodywork but the tread of the tyre cannot.
