  2. Old?
  3. Date now set for Sunday May 2nd from 10am onwards. The chap's name is Paul Steeples and for those of you that know the area, leave the Heanor Tesco roundabout travelling north and park in the small shopping centre that is about 200 yards (if that!) on the right. He live opposite. He hopes to have a good chin wag, a bit of a barbie (if enough people turn up) and sell some bits and bobs too. If anyone needs more accurate details, email Paul on ps144@btinternet.com, please let him know you will be coming so he can budget beer and burgers! lol
  4. I know its not a Ford, but I am flying the flag in more ways than one! My Focus and Fiesta are painted the same
  5. and a potential fine of £1000 per tyre!
  6. http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg356.pdf I know it's boring, all this Health & Safety stuff, but I have had a look at the HSE website, and vehicles falling on people is a major cause of death and serious injury in this Country. Have a look at the top of page 2 of the pdf I have linked to. Having Baz stuck under the car and having to lift it off him has really bought it home to me more than ever before, and a few simple precautions would have prevented this incident happening. I implore you all to a) read the above document and take it on board when working on your cars and Don't be a numpty!!
  7. Well for all the letches in the world that is OSF, I thought it might be an idea to photoshop Tash's face onto a nurses body
  8. Tash said she will need to put her nurses uniform on to care for Baz105e after is car fell off the jack onto him
  9. Here is a pic of Tash, any photoshop gods put her into nurses' uniform?
  10. I'm sure I could supply a pic of Tash if anyone is any good with photoshop
  11. He has learned his lesson, had it on a jack which rolled over. It was lucky his mate and I were here to lift the car off him, as he was trapped underneath, with the car crushing his chest and head. Those marks on his head are not from a blow from the car, more the pressure of it on his skull!! He will use axle stands from now on, and wants others on here to know how easy it is to have an accident if axle stands are not used. He is a lucky lucky boy. And about this nurses outfit Tash...
  12. Baz105e just dropped something on his head. Problem was, it was his Anglia Now boys and girls, see why you should use axle stands?
  13. Youshit and shag while driving? I'm not sure that's sensible

    todays problem

That's a woody word (for those Monty P fans out there!)
  15. And how does it go? "May I ask you what you are doing at 2am driving around?" "Wearing a Domino Pizza hat and jacket, and with a pizza bag on the seat, wtf do you think I'm doing?"
  16. Vista, They used to do that, but apparently it was against their own guidelines, making a car look newer than it is, as A reg should be on a 1963 vehicle! Age related plate is what you will get, but this will be non transferable, and this will be written on the V5c
  17. The SORN issue is one for the DVLA, although I don't understand why the Police didn't advise the DVLA to clamp or tow it away...
  18. And don't forget ikletash....
  19. I also thought that there was no tyre protrusion beyond the arches.. I have had a quick look at some other forums, and it seems that the tyre can stick beyond the bodywork but the tread of the tyre cannot.
  20. You been watching QI or summat?
  21. What was the number?
  22. I must admit that although their crime was without doubt horrendous, I am not an advocate of capital punishment, and so don't agree with the life for a life way of thinking.
  23. It happened 28 posts ago...
  24. All they are selling (according to the photo in the Advertiser) is the back bit we don't use and the back row of spaces next to the house wall, as this would be the access road for the new properties being built there.
