  1. No they dont but after speaking to an mot'er my son according to the " ministry " if the engine doesnt appear to be what it should be and the engine number is taken and put into the machine and doesnt match up with the details then it shows up at the Ministry and it also puts the tester in a spot and he could be disiplined , still bad advice aint good advice is it surely its better to have all the details correct , as i said previously youve obviously been lucky .. Ever tried to read the engine number on a Ford? I wanted the number off a pre-crossflow, with the engine out of the car and stripped, and the number cleaned up and I still couldn't read it!

  11. A close friend of mine packed up, and bought a new(ish) car on the strength of the money he saved. Good luck Dell, and we take the p!ss, but are supporting you really!

  13. I thought the 12 days of christmas was after christmas day, if you don't take them down by twelfth night you have to leave them up all year or you will have bad luck...
  14. I often read in the press that there are certain events that occurred and you "remember exactly where you were" when you heard, such as JFK's assassination (no! even I was rather young then!) It has got me thinking if there are momentous (or otherwise) events that I heard about and I can still remember where I was when I heard about them. For me there are not many Space Shuttle Challenger blowing up on launch (working on my Anglia on the drive) Princess Di's sad demise (Home, I woke up early for work) 9/11 (at work, listened to the developments on the radio) And that's about it, over 50 years old I am, and only three events of any memorable significance that I can still remeber where I was, althopugh more may appear through the mists of my memory! Which events do you remember, and where were you when you heard?
  15. Msn is particularly susceptible to these Trojan Horse viruses. You really should be more careful which dodgy sites you go on! Best course of action )(according to Burnds the Porn Meister) is to save any files off the computer onto disk or stick, reformat the computer, reinstall windows and install spybot (serch and destroy), which is free. Spybot asks you before changing anything in the registry.
  16. Or there's the guy who decided to shag his cylinder vacuum cleaner, but his old man came in contact with the fan inside, which was turning

  21. Maybe its now got a beaver tail, and the chassis has been cut and extended so it is not original or to the maufacturer's specifications?
  22. Would that be the rating of the spring in pounds? Although that seems a bit high to me!
  23. i only just stopped wearing shorts last week same here everyone at work is nesh and need the heating on in the workshop, id be happy with the shutter doors open Bloody Southern Softies, eh Trev. All Mardy and nesh ent they? lmao
  24. I am aware of this, but won't be running around like a headless chicken. At least one of my vans would only achieve a measly 2 points, yet it gets tested, insured and taxed every year, and the system is enforceable today. Insure it, test it, tax it, DRIVE! That's good enough for me! So basicly your driving a un-insured ringer then and admiting it on a public forum? bit silly no? No, Fred is not driving a ringer at all, what she is saying is that one of her vehicles has non standard trasmission, steering and engine and has had body mods done, thereby not scoring many points at all! Does not mean it's illegal, dangerous or a ringer.
