  20. as long as nothing broke up inside and punched its way out , it dnt look like that tho , as bomber said mix sum chemical metal or JB weld thats wot we use ,
  21. ah think i found the prob , this has been a strange one coz it didnt give a problem all the time , some days it was ok , i narrowed it down to one barrell after swopping carbs over to confirm that it was fuel problem . even tho the choke mechanism is wired shut and i dnt use it , the pin that holds one of the quadrants in had worked loose allowing the plunger that is the choke enrichment to get jammed up , this would happen when the carb spat back ,causing that barrell only to be on choke .two screws undone take off choke mechanism tap retaining pin in job done . has took me weeks to get to the bottom of this
  22. 1 week to go and ive got problems ,basically ,pinto on 45,s .one of my barrels is massively overfuelling , i swopped the carbs over and it confirmed it is the carb , at idle and light throttle it keeps wetting up the plug ive checked everything ! except a complete carb strip down ,but wondered if anyone knows wot may cause this so i have an idea where to look
  23. its a speed sensor ,that box is out of a late sierra cvh with injection , youve still got the drive for cable so its fine . just leave the sensor there no need to wire it up ,
  24. just gota get the scort running now
