  1. Well done Tob's! Go on the Tina's,u know it makes sense
  2. thanks for all your thoughts on this people I've just had an e-mail from a pedal car enthusiast and find out that unbelieveably Sebel (who made this car) used metal offcuts from FORD to make their pedal cars and they also did contract work directley for FORD too! How jammy is that, being such a FORD anorak, must of had a second sense when i first spotted this pedal car over five years ago!
  3. Did u notice Geoff it's got the same wheels as ur Tina!

  5. i think i need to scale down piccies BIG TIME CHARLIE BANANA !!
  6. Just aquired this after i spotting it on a porch roof of a house over 5 years ago! I plucked up enough courage to ask the owner if it was for sale and after a bit of wheeler dealing it was mine.It was covered in ivy and had a plant pot on it's seat but is in fairly good nick.My plan is to pick out the lower half in a cream colour with a black cherry top like my GT.It was originally a police car & was made by Sebel/Mobo toys who were based at Erith (i've done a little bit of research) The main reason for buying it was to save it from rusting away eventually and get it ready for my 3 month old son to ride about in when he can reach the pedals. It's going to become a family heirloom as like everything i buy thats old it stays in my possesion cos i'm a real hoarder! I'm in contact with a chap who can possibley get hold of some spares that are missing or broken so watch this space! Another little venture into something new,it's not in as bad a nick as the GT so i should be OK this time? Any how i've added some pics for you all to see what it's like.

  23. Was working in the rain all day yesterday(gardening) so i thought as it's dry today (for once)i'd do some last minute tarting up on the GT before the MK 1 Cortina Nat's this weekend coming at Stratford Racecourse.Removed the seats, centre consul & seat belt bolts as i wanted to paint the floor with black smoothrite, hoovered the floor pan, started painting drivers side floor, finished drivers side floor pan, then heard the wife coughing quite badly so went in to see her being sick(NICE!!) She's picked up a sickness & tummy bug!I 've had to pack up my tools & come back indoors leaving the job half cocked as we recently had our third child and the poor little man needed a cuddle.I knew it was going too well! Oh well nothing like cutting it fine to get car done before i leave Friday afternoon!
  24. Seats look good Lee Best get my finger out before the Nat's & start painting a few bits up on mine to freshen them up a bit now i've copped eyes on Andy's Looks the NUTS
